Mission/Vision Services: 
To assist Tribal members i.e. elderly and disabled with the application process. Provide information with application BIA Form 6407 (4) pages. I am a notary and can help with Release of Information form and Certification form required, doctor statements (2) needed; assist with blank forms and calls to facilities involved, HUD form delivery and pick up occasionally for those who cannot; provide telephone numbers to Tribal enrollment, assist in making phone calls to varies programs; that they will need the information from i.e. Housing Authority, TANF, SD Dept of Social Services, BIA Social Services, Individual Indian Monies - BIA - IIM, income information, type letters for the homeless for client's signature, contact agencies for title, gift deed, bill of sale regarding ownership status, call BIA Land Operations for fee patent property, trust property, tribally owned land, Tribal assignment, multi-ownership property. Approve completed applications to prepare a Tribal work plan that must be sent to the BIA Housing every year with this list of those who qualified. After approval from BIA, Aberdeen Area Office the paperwork must be submitted consisting of 1) Program Budget, 2) Project Schedule, 3) Work Plan, 4) Tribal resolution in support of re-contracting the CRST-HIP for each fiscal year for funding and funding is not guaranteed to remain the same from year to year. Every client is instructed to apply each year as it's a first come first serve unlike the Housing Authority who keeps the application from one year to many years. Maintain files on each client providing copies when requested by the client for furture use. Answer and/or call back every incoming phone call, mail applications to those that request one and provide mailing address. Send faxes to their providers with the Dr. statements and receive fax. Travel to sites record delivery dates and seek help to all utility companies i.e. Moreau Grand Electric, electrician, IHS - water and sewer, CRST Gas Company, AC units accept bids and pay contractors with  26 pages of documents for the accounting department - CRST, mail checks only by certified mail and/or hand deliver provide a receipt when this is done. Prepare grant agreements for each home as they are given 20 years until they will receive the home ownership however if a client does not have land the Tribe can give them a 24 year lease on the homesite in which the home resides only.
