I grew up in the Southwest of the reservation, Red Scaffold, SD. I was raised by the late Sullivan & Lillian White Wolf on a ranch that was very involved in the rodeo world. My parents, Susan Widow, Darrel Dupris, my grandparents, Wilber Dupris, Edith Iron Bird, but unci Ramona Red Horse raised my father. I am 15/16 Cheyenne River Sioux.
