Mission/Vision/Services: To provide a higher quality of care to children in our care. Working together with parents, their child's care is a responsibility we share. Modeling to the children is very important to their personal development. Unki Takoja Oti is a licensed facility, certified by the South Dakota Department of Social Services-Child Care Services, and provides child care services to children of eligible parent/guardians during their employment and training and educational hours only. Building capacity is 75 children, though we are currently at the capacity of 45 children. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. However, the center may close for reasons such as holidays, federal and tribal, administrative leave, emergency closure, mandatory staff training. We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, we follow the SD Child and Adult Food Program. We are under the PL 102-477 Employment & Training Program through Oyate Connections.
